Moisturiser for 12 yo boy ?

Ds2 has had a bout of dry flaky skin recently. he's outdoors a fair bit playing football etc., so I'm sure it's just the winter elements playing havoc.

But he says his skin is uncomfortable; certainly feels dry to me !

Without unsettling the balance of his skin, can anyone recommend a light fragrance free facial moisturiser ?
There seesmto be a lot of body stuff on the market, for eg i have E45 creram etc at home, but it seems a bit heavy for a young face. i use Clarins stuff myself which i don't think is quite right either !

If you can get him past the girlishness of it, I love ultralight from lush. It is great at protecting from the elements and has spf too.

Thanks Indith - how girly is the packaging ? As long it's not too pink/flowery i could present it as a unisex product perhaps !

Packaging not at all girly ultralight, depends if he knows lush is full of girly smelly stuff or not

I love body shop's men's range - if he fancies something not at all girly. There's a decent choice too.

The ultralight looks good - we're in London so apart from the odd local journey using his oystercard, or the daily school bus, he's not really independently shopping just yet, so won't have heard of Lush !

YouKnow...I'd completely forgotten about the BODY SHop .

what about Simple products?
also dry skin is v often in need of a little exfoliation, I bet Simple do one of those too and their products are v unisex

What about aqueous cream - cheap as chips and def not girly. Just basic moisture.

e45 for my teen boy

I was going to say bodyshop too. I just bought dp some cream (he works outside allot) its the best seller in the bodyshop mens range. It is about £8, more than i would normally spend on cream but at least its manly enough for him that he'll use it.

Bundle yes he could do with exfoliating the flaky bits away. I'm just wary of upsetting his skin; apart from this current issue, it's still very soft and baby-like

Maybe I'll look at the Simple rANGE TOO. (Oops)
Thanks everyone. i have a lot of trying out to do now !
