I really have no idea.
Me, dh, 2 DDs (3.10 and 2.3), no plans for another in the near future.

at the moment we have a passat estate and a golf, would trade one in for just one family car which would be used day to day by me.

Do we really need an estate car now we are out of the buggy/travel cot thing? I don't really fancy trying to park an estate all the time and not convinced we need such a big car anymore.

HELP!!!

The touran is great and very easy to drive, i have been driving one for a few months (not our car), if i had the money i woul buy one, it does'nt feel like you are driving a van and it is great on diesel (around 35 miles to the gallon).

You could get a 1-2yo Jag x-type for that. They are well specced and last for years, I believe. The car gets good write-ups in most of the car mags too. Decent sized boot on the saloon so you wouldn't need the estate version.

oh, Tigerfeet - i had a clio and a megane when younger. I loved the clio (racing green, v stylish and cool at the time) but hated the megane. Also the servicing on the renaults was expensive and something always needed doing even though they were both bought new. So, am avoiding renaults... i also found the seat very very soft in the megane.
