How do you find it generally?

Is it a pain to demolish to put into the car? It looked like you had to take it apart to fold it up.

Has anyone got the optional jogger wheel that makes it into a 3-wheeler, and do you think it would cope with being used on bumpy, muddy paths and across fields?

It will be used, at least initially, to carry a 21 month old and a newborn.

Must admit I love the look of it and in fact dh & I oth wish it had been out when we had ds 11 months ago....

Looks really compact and stylish. Esp as we ended up with a bus aka duet lite pram. Yet imo any twin pram is heavy.

My only question to you if you intend to use it with a newbrn and 21 month old is practicality.....DD was 19 months when ds was born and now at 31 months we have had nearly a years use BUT she doesn't always want the pram, its heavy to push when both in and unless can revert to a single pram will be redundant around 6-12 months (depending on how your lo is..baring in mind this can and will change!!!)

We wanted the Jane twin2 pram and fell head over heels in love with it..it was double the cost of the duet lite and tbh we are now glad we didn't get it. Although the money saved did go on a new single pram for ds Sorry im rambleing now...

Good luck. x

Hi, we're still waiting for the Pear to arrive at our shop, its basically the Apple Chassis with a double seat unit. The seat def has to come off to fold it so could be a PITA (my customers generally hate anything which has to come bits when folding).

FWIW we've had loads of problems with the Apple chassis, nearly all of the ones we've sold have come back with trouble with the front wheels so I'candy have had to send out new replacement wheels. They came with the extra front wheel so most people fitted it when the others failed but hated the handling with it on. IMO the it wouldn't stand up to off roading particularly well at all.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but this is just my experience of them.

Thanks for that, Teaandcake (great name!). Makes the decision making easier. Do you have experience of the Phil&Ted, and think that would be up to off roading? This pushchair will be used more off road than on.

P&T def good for some off road action. Also has the advantage of eventually being used as a single buggy when the older one starts to walk full time, you don't end up with a redundant double buggy.

P&T it is then. Thank you.

Hi teaandcake, sorry to come in so late on the conversation but DH and I were discussing the very same subject recently. I had a Bugaboo for DD but now I'm expecting again I'm torn between the P&T and iCandy Pear. You seem very knowledgable on both where is your shop as I could do being shown the ropes on both.
