WASHING MACHINE, in need of one (2 adults + baby + dog)

hi,

our old washing machine just broke down. i went online on the hunt for a new one and i feel lost with so many options! the main problem is that they are SO expensive, that i dont want to go wrong.

we have a lovely 5 months old DD, and a sweet dog that sheds quite often. so we do wash at least 4 out of 7 days of the week... we need something like 7kg capacity, and a really good spin (around 1400?).

has anyone bought a washing machine recently that could recommend it to me? i would much appreciate it! thank you.

ISE is Independent Service Engineers. DP uses a site called uk white gods which was originally for service engineers to ask questions and give advice. They found so many prblems with vaious appliances that they decided to source a machine that they were willing to put their name to. Although they give a 10 yerar guarantee, they say that the mschine could last for upto 20 years. On my machine the door is not as deep as the previous one I owned, and I don't have to stretch to get stuff from the back of the drum. It is also a lot quieter than my previous machine.

It says "Unlike almost every other A rated washing machine we've seen the ISE10 can complete a normal 40 cottons wash in little over an hour as opposed to the usual two hours or more"

Thats's just not true!

hi all! i just wanted to let you know that we got this one at the end:

www.redhillappliances.co.uk/Products.aspx?PRODUCTID=2035

and from that merchant.

its a lovely machine, SOOOOO quiet. i was going for the 1400 spin, but for another 40 pounds i got a better and more silent motor. in terms of efficiency for the spin, from what i read 1200/1400/1600 can do almost the same job. but the clothes are coming out incredibly "dry".

although i did read somewhere that if the lcd panel breaks its expensive to be fixed, i love the fact that i know how much time remains, so i can plan when to leave the house.

thank you for all your input!
