foxinsocks · 21/12/2007 22:03

aaah they are gorgeous. I love the pouty one with her fingers in her hair.

bookthief · 21/12/2007 22:04

I think the one where she's got her hand to her head is my favourite but the ones on the stairs are lovely too. But they all are - very photogenic wee girl!

moljam · 21/12/2007 22:05

so so lovely!amazing!did your dd enjoy it?wow

ahundredtimes · 21/12/2007 22:06

Oh Aitch! They are delicious. I love the face shot with her in the red jumper. I don't tend to prefer colour ones as a rule, but that one is gorgeous.

I'm going to eat her. Jumper and all.

Aitch · 21/12/2007 22:06

right, she is gorgeous yes, but i am her mother... what's really, really clever is that those photos really, really look like her. we were given about 50 to choose from, not one of which we disliked, but there are some where it's just really her, iykwim?

funnily enough, that one with her hand in her hair... her dad does that exact move. how weird. it was IMPOSSIBLE to choose. we got the hand in hair and the close-up of her face, both in colour as i think it kinda dates the photos and i actually like that.

Aitch · 21/12/2007 22:10

x-posts with 100x, yep i was surprised by the fact that we got the colour ones.

booky, it's going to cost us about £150 to get one photo hand-framed, and that includes the sitting. all the prices are on the website, they're very up-front and not hard-selly At All. unlike Venture... my pal got really badly stung by them, ended off paying £300 because they didn't tell her in advance what it would all cost.

they are a husband and wife team, keep a pad in London and Glasgow so they work between Central Scotland and the South. dd LOVED the whole experience, she's a wee show-off. but i think cos it was at our place she was more comfortable as well...

The ones of the wee face looking through the bannister - they're like a still from a 40s film or something. Amazing light and shade.

bookthief · 21/12/2007 22:11

God, for those photos that is not bad at all. You'll treasure them forever.

Aitch · 21/12/2007 22:14

obv you could get the photos separately and frame them yourself, LTH, have a look at the site. I just paid more cos i wanted one for Grandma's christmas present. anyway... it's something we won't do again for a while so it's worth it easily imo. they're worth giving a ring to anyway, it's just the wife you speak to so she's very nice.

i left you a commemt aitch - you will se you chose my fave!

ggirlsbells · 21/12/2007 22:18

well I was expecting you to say a lot more than that tbh.

I wonder if they'd do hampshire?

Aitch · 21/12/2007 22:22

yeah i think word is getting out that he's doing children's photgraphy now, funnily enough, i was telling a pal in London about him and she said 'omg, i think my pal has just booked us a double-sitting with him'... (apparently London's such a pita to get around that they'll do you a bit of a Bogoff on the sitting if you and a pal live near each other and book for the same day). i think they might do hampshire, tbh, i've seen some of their client books and they looked pretty country-ish.
