I phoned the school and told them of ds's allergies and was impressed at how sensible they were. They suggested I dressed him in clothes that would allow him to learn and not be a 3 foot itchy thing. I have to match school uniform as much as poss though.

Mum can bring over from UK, so what I need is

100% cotton track pants (black)
100% cotton polo shirt (that aertex fabric if possible) bright red.
100% cotton drill shorts (black)
100% cotton skivvy (not sure what the UK word is - I mean a long sleeve T shirt type thing with a turtle neck) bright red
100% (or close to)cotton socks. black.

So if you have been in a shop and seen anything like this - please can you let me know so I can tell mum. He starts in Feb. (you start on your 5th birthday here)

Thanks.

Sainsbury's have red polo tshirts, short sleeves, but I don't know what they are made of. You could ring and ask though.

M&S do lots of 100% cotton stuff, and I would've thought would have most of this.

Have a look here
Not sure about the 'skivvy' - is it a poloneck?

GAP also has mostly 100% cotton stuff and is good for polo shirts. They're more expensive, but wash really well.

That M&S "Sweatshirt" is a skivvy, and it's bright red - brilliant.

twentypence - it might be best for your Mum to order it online - I find that a lot of the school uniform is not available in-store....

(or you could order it for her of course!)

Good tip gameboy, it's best I do it anyway so it doesn't look like a convenient excuse for Gran to pick up the tab.

I am in NZ.
