Does this buggy actually exist or am I being too fussy?

I love my Micralite buggy but also hate it for several reasons, one of which being dodgy front wheels which prevents me from jogging with it.
So whenever baby no 2 comes along I'd like to get another one. My requirements are as follows (in no particular order):

  • Big wheels for running
  • Must have proper upright and full recline positions so I don't need to buy a separate carrycot fitting for a young baby
  • Not a huge great tank of a buggy - I'd like something manoeuvrable and smallish
  • must have big enough space btw the back wheels for a buggy board
  • big basket (I can prob live without this)
  • funky design (okay, at a push I can give this up too)

Anyone have a buggy they like that fits these criteria? If so I'd love to hear what you think of your buggy!

Urban Detour? VERY manoevrable and although not the tiniest buggy it ticks all your other boxes. Friend used to run with hers but only on park paths, though I've walked with mine over grass and woodland paths.

I love my Jane, it's a Powertrack but not the 360. I've had it since ds1 was born over four years ago and it is still going strong with ds2.

I bought it with all the bells and whistles, car seat and carry cot but it also works just as well as a buggy.

You might think that it's too big and not funky enough or the basket too small. I think it's fine but my mum complains about it.

You can jog with it but you might have to investigate the buggy board as it has one large handle. I've seen a sort of bicycle thing attached to the side of one if that's any help.

Thank you for being so helpful! I'll have a look into those two buggies.

Would still welcome more suggestions if anyone has any.

Another vote for Mountain Buggy. All the features you want in a buggy don't exist without it being a bit bigger. MB fits all your criteria.

I have one and absolutely LOVE it.
