DS1 had a friend round today who was very unimpressed with our selection of Wii games (we bought it mainly for ourselves a year ago so don't have many children's games).
What do you suggest would be a good game to get them for Christmas? DSs are 5 and 3.

My DS age 4 loves Cooking Mama and Wii Sports (the golf and bowling games.)

What's the Cooking Mama game?

super monkey ball banana blitz (apart from being a great title ) is good fun. It has a main game which is for one player but a heap of 'party' games for up to four players. Really fun but very simple and easy games which would suit your dcs. Wii sports is good and Wii play which you probably have.

Thanks rosybud, I'll have a look at that one.
Yes we have Wii Play and Wii Sports, also Zelda (for me) Call of Duty (for DP), Big Brain Academy, Happy Feet and Wario Ware Smooth Moves.

I've not hear of that one Kermit.
DS1 is pretty good at all the sports games and surprisingly, he scored a D+ on Big Brain Academy (DP and I scored C ).

Cooking mama - you have to make a recipe through all the stages - stirring, chopping, pouring, etc. It's quite quick, and there are lots of different recipes.

We have Kororinpa which DS (4) managed to complete in about 2 weeks, but it was fun - I think the monkey ball one is quite similar. I'm planning on getting the Brain academy one for christmas. We also have the carnival games one, which is a bit pants. I like the sound of the mii making one, as both children like doing that.
