we bought this one for DS1 6 1/2yrs ago, it's now in use by DS3 (having also been utilised by DS2) and I'm glad we bought it. The tray and "crotch" bit come off when they're a little older and can just sit at the table (but are too short for the normal chairs ) and there's no plastic padding bits which IME (from friend's highchairs) tend to fall apart after time.

Ooh, we're also about to get a highchair with tray. Fancied a wooden one tho...

We've got the bruin regency highchair. I'm really pleased with it. Agree with Queen about plastic padding splitting, from dd's one. ds is really comfortable in it though features inc.:
4 position recline
removable tray, inc. 2 top one can be taken off independently
great range height adjust
closes flat for storage, not v. compact.
removable foortest.
was quite expensive though and cheaper one probably would have been just as good.

Stokke Tripp Trapp. No contest.

tbh I don't think it really matters - at the end of the day a highchair is just that......a "high" "chair" - if you can get one that converts to a "stool" even better - but not essential - which I why I still say the £19.99 on from Argos
