However, I have very thin wrists and circular bangles look odd on me, I have to have oval.

bangles are no good for thin wrists. I can't wear bracelets or bangles unless they are extremely small.

haven't read whole thread so sorry if this has already been mentioned - I usually get class teacher a voucher for cineworld - start at £5. easy to get and appreciated (I would love one!) my sister is a teacher and gets too many chocs!!
