Hi, badly need to buy some foundation that offers great cover, not a light one but something that will really help to disguise blemishes, etc. Anyone any recommendations? Oh, should add I am in my 30's with normal/combination skin. Regards, Pacinofan.

agree with the lancome photogenic. I was introduced to it a few years back at a wedding makeover and have loved it ever since.

On Saturday I had a makeover at the Giorgio Armani counter in Selfridges, and now I look 5 yrs younger! Their bases and concealers are truly amazing, and I speak as someone who's has thrown a lot of money at this problem over the years!

They do 3 (I think) different finishes on the foundation and the coverage is fantastic. Also the concealer is fab for covering my black circles under the eye.

Giorgio Armani makeup is only available in Selfridges and Harvey Nicks (I think) but well worth trying if you can

I use Helena Rubinstein Spectacular Makeup - and it is! I have blotches, red cheeks, dry nose and no cheek bones...this stuff clears the lot, add a touch of L'oreal powder and even my skin looks flawless.

I use boots No7 £10.00 a bottle it provides a wonderful light finish and gives me a lovely cover.

olay refinishing serum followed by Laura Mercier foundation - sorted!

Clinique cream (in a block - its got a fancy name but cant remember it) that you put on with a puff is also good for extra coverage.

It is probably worth not just going for foundation but also for the layers under the foundation that cover blemishes: concealer to disguise the blemishes, anti-redness cream (usually green), foundation base (I think biotherm base magic is fab) and then the foundation.
