Anyone know where I can get those little freezer pots with lids for baby food?

I have a thing about using ice cube trays without lids. Threw away the stuff I froze for DS1.

I used houmous tubs, philadelphia tubs, any tub that passed through my kitchen got a thorough wash and reused IIRC.
Our poundstretcher does sell small tubs though, as does lakeland.

I used to use ice cube trays with a large freezer bag over them and tied at the top. Nothing could get in there. Once frozen, I emptied the cubes, put in bag and retied the top.

Failing that, you could always try these www.bloomingmarvellous.co.uk/product.aspx?CategoryID=Nursery&ProductID=BB632&language=en-GB

Poundland have them. I was told Asda had them too.

saw them in Asda and mothercare, recently.

Have you tried looking in the baby section in Tesco/ Asda? I got some from Toy 'r' Us years ago, probably still do them. Tommy Tippee are great as the lids fit really tightly. I'm still using mine for snacks when we go out and in lunch boxes.

I bought an Avent set, called gourmet, I think. It had 20 pots in 2 different sizes and although ds is now 16 months, I still use them for all sorts of things. They were perfect for freezing baby food and I also used them for serving his food and now they are a good size for any leftovers from when we don't eat together. It was a tenner I think.

Asda & boots both had them this week

Mothercare have a set of 8 for £2.50 - they are slightly larger than ice cubes and they also do a larger set of 4 pots - I do veg in them and then mix and match what i give DS for each meal.

I recycled those Heinz organic fruit puree tubs with lids and also put ice cubed food into freezer bags.

Tesco do a Value set of 3 small round tubs for 79p. They are usually near the Kitchen things but up out of the way.

A bit big for the first few weeks of weaning but not bad quality. DD is 14m and I am still reusing them. I bought loads and make up batches of her favourite things like pasta sauce or risotto and freeze it. In the early days I did the ice cube trays inside freezer bags and it worked a treat.
