Hauck Infinity Reviews and advice needed

I am thinking about buying a hauck infinity. I want a rear facing pushchair, but at 2.5 years and 96 cms tall I am worried my ds may be too big for it. I would be buying 2nd hand off the internet, so I wouldn't be able to sit him in it before hand.

We are planning on having another baby so it's not a completely indulgent purchase as I know that ds will be out of a pushchair at some point in the next few months.

Also we do quite a lot of country walking will it cope with being pushed over uneven terrain?

I bought a hauck infinity branded as Mothercare Maui for DD and love the carry cot bit of it, which I used for nearly four months (and she was still fitting into it, but she wanted to be sitting up and looking at the world. The handle has a huge range of height adjustability which was good for us as I'm little and my DH is quite tall. The brake on it is very good and feels very sturdy.

It's not bad on uneven terrain, but I wouldn't take it anywhere more taxing than a gravel path tbh. If you want to do proper off road you'd be much better with a three wheeler as you'd get a smoother ride.

I'm unfortunately having to sell mine as I need something more compact for use on public transport, so haven't used the seat bit of it, so not sure of the fit on a tall toddler.....could you take your DS to a shop and try him in one before you buy off the internet?

No where near me stocks them otherwise I would. I didn't realise that the Maui was the infinity.

I really like the look of it so would probably buy one for another child anyway, but I really need to get something for ds now. We are currently using a britax rearward facing buggy, but his feet touch the floor!

One of the reasons I wopuld like one for another child is the carrycot so it's good to hear that you liked yours. Luckily I don't use public transport, so size isn't really an issue as long as it will fit in the boot of a vw golf.
