Dolls House....recommendations please!

Can anyone recommend a dolls house please? My parents have kindly offered to buy one for my dd (now 8 months although we realise it will be a pressie that she won't play with until later) for Christmas. We would like her to have one that we can collect furniture for and that is relatively robust. If anything, we prefer the georgian or victorian style but not that fussed either way. Many thanks in advance of your replies....

depends on what style of house you are after really. there are the day to day kids playing ones, or the more elaborant ones.

try the dolls house emporium for some ideas.

If you want a robust, child-friendly dolls house, ELC have theirs at half price at the moment - £25. Conservatory is £16, and the sets of dolls/furniture are about £10 each (some also half price at the mo).
