I am thinking of buying a 2-3 year old Venga - they look really reasonable in price. I've read a couple of reviews which say they are pretty dull handling wise (doesn't bother me too much). Has anyone got any experience? Are they reliable? Reasonably economical?

Great cars IME! Have had one since 2019 and no major issues. It was ex mobility with 15,000 miles and immaculate, and has been a great car for us and our growing little family (now 5yo and 6mo baby) Seats in the back are nice and flat, so great for car seats without tipping the seat forward which we found with our previous seat ibiza caused head lag.tThere's loads of space all round, it's comfy, and has all the basic kit you need if you aren't too into needing lots of gadgets and tech.
Boot is a good size, and the floor can be on two different levels. The rear seats slide to give either more rear legroom or more boot space.
It's not a car you'd buy for the looks or the driving experience...its SLOW (although there's much worse looking cars out there) but even as someone who has always been into cars, I can forgo all that for the awesome practicality of it!
Isofix points are abit of a bugger to slot carseat onto, but much easier with the plastic spacer things you get with most child seats.
We don't see many families with them, mainly middle aged/ older people, but unsure why really.Families we see often seem to have the Sedonas or Sportages (they're clearly all richer than us! Lol) My mum has a venga and that's how we knew we liked them- not too big to park or manouvere, but plenty of room too.
