My mum has bought it for dd for Christmas. Dd has been obsessed with it for months - the power of advertising. Not sure how long it will last - my view is that she may get bored with it as it's uses are limited

I have them at home for christmas pressies. TBH I havn't opened the boxes to see them. Will take a peek at lunch and post later.

they look great don't they?

but they're very expensive for a set of paints don't you think?

Branster · 27/10/2004 13:35

yep, got it. dd just under 3 but very much into painting and colours. it's OK actually, apart from the 'special' felt tip pens included, ours were dry and didn't work so I threw those away.

ELC have something similar for £10 - have a look at their catalogue.

we got this after ds went mad about it...i thought it was average and not really worth the money.

misdee · 28/10/2004 08:19

what is it?

charliecat · 28/10/2004 08:26

Weve had a set for about 2 years now, dp brought it when i wasnt looking and i nearly choked when he said it was 25 quid. However its great to get out when the kids jave friends round, I have a roll of wallpaper and roll it across the kitchen floor and it keeps the kids amused for a good 45 mins.

You use the sponges to paint with it looks really pretty and theres no mess like there is with painting if you dampen the sponges and remove the water out of sight.

oopshere

nightowl · 29/10/2004 01:43

perhaps it really depends on the child...ds played with it once...he wasnt imprssed and neither was i!
