Funky t-shirts for 2 yr old boys - like Gap but cheaper!

I am looking for some more long sleeved t-shirts for ds. I hate boring ones and like this sort of thing and also Gap is great but at £14 a time it gets a bit pricey when you need quite a few!
I looked at M&S but they're a bit dull, I have a thing against Next (no rational reason just think it's boring and ubiquitous- no offence anyone!)

Any pointers - maybe some online companies that are a bit more unusual but don't cost a fortune (under £10 for a long sleeved T)

Would love to go there but there aren't any easy to get to from here.
Do they sell online?

I can´t get that page to load so not sure what your ref. is but have you looked at vertbaudet?

Also Tesco´s seem to have quite nice clothes for kids..

Pumpkin Patch?

boo64 · 27/10/2007 10:46

Thanks for that - Pumpkin Patch looks perfect - like Gap but cheaper!! Great recommendation.
Any other suggestions welcome though!

h&m? ikwym about next. at nursery one day 3 boys were wearing exactly the same next top

goingfor3 · 27/10/2007 10:58

H&M great quailty and fun styles, cheaper than Gap. Not online though.

JackieNoHeadJustABloodyStump · 27/10/2007 11:00

Yes - H&M lovely, wish they were online. I've seen Jako-O recommended on here, but haven't bought from them - you need to convert the prices from Euros. They will send to the UK.

I'm also liking the stuff from Tchibo, but you have to keep checking to see what's in stock this week, and stuff can sell out quite quickly.

nutcracker · 27/10/2007 11:05

I have found H&M crap just lately for boys tbh, and they seem to be getting more exspensive. I was looking for jeans for ds last week and they were £12.99, even Next do jeans for £5 so needless to say I didn't buy them.

I found the selection of boys clothes poor in every single shop tbh, boring and no choice.

accessorizewithbabysick · 27/10/2007 20:38

I agree H&M is def.variable and more expensive than I remembered but I did get a couple of cute ones for ds2 today, they were £6 each and I know they wash well. It annoys me that they never have the full range of size or that things are scattered all over the shop!
FWIW, Gap had a deal on with 2 l/s tops for £12 plain and striped. Not hugely exciting, but the plain ones lovely with bright tank top.
If you catch debenhams at sale time they have a good range of designer stuff for boys.

MilaMae · 27/10/2007 22:10

Oh I got some lovely tops for my boys from Hennes last week ,2 with robpots on, one with a grizzly bear. Very reasonable but agree jeans there are v.pricey. However I do get dd's jeans from there as they are a lovely cut, last forever and are the only ones I can find that are normal length for a 2 year old ie don't need to be folded up to her armpits!!!!

boo64 · 27/10/2007 22:59

Am a big fan of good old M&S for boys trousers - I just don't like their tops - but their sizing is crazy - definitely trousers up to ds's armpits if I choose the age appropriate size!!

They have some brightly coloured tops in Boots and the quality is generally good.

Sainsbury and Tesco - you have to dig through the boring stuff but I have found some really nice things, and not expensive at all.
