Whirli warning

To anyone considering a Whirli subscription( toy borrowing service) please let me warn you not to. I returned our toys at the end of September and didn’t get round to requesting the next lot until last Sunday, because, well COVID.
They denied receiving the toys and wanted proof of postage( which I hadn’t kept, but sent them a photo of receipt for parcel I posted to my brother in the same visit). This was not sufficient. I then found an e-mail from them dated 3/10 thanking me for my return and asking me to cancel the toonie box account we set up for the toonie box we borrowed.
They then admitted they did receive my returns but didn’t know which and wouldn’t cancel my subscription until I had returned all remaining toys 🙄.
I told them I was very unhappy with their response and said if they did not cancel my subscription I would have to start charging for my time in dealing with the ongoing inconvenience ( including spending 30 mins on the phone to my bank to block all future charges as their charge service is not a simple direct debit).
In desperation I sent an e-mail saying I have returned all the toys with the toonie box why will you not cancel my subscription?
Got an e-mail an hour later from their founder and managing director saying they couldn’t cancel the subscription as I hadn’t returned the toys while acknowledging they have no record of the toys I did return( which they admit due to their e-mail).
You really don’t need this hassle in your life...
