Stylish cosy women's pyjamas, not too expensive?

OK, 9 months on I've finally accepted I have to get into nightwear, with all this getting up in the night for DS ....

Anyone seen anything along the lines of
this or this , but maybe a wee bit cheaper? Reluctant to spend much on something only DH sees (oh dear that sounds awful but these are hardly garments of seduction!) - and in the dark, at that!!!

Links to ANY pretty pyjamas appreciated actually, even if they're not cheap - maybe my mum'll buy me them for Christmas!

PS Note that the DKNY ones are £34 for the top half only - £36/£38 for the bottoms.

i hadn't noticed that... misleading... they are lovely though

KateandtheGirls · 23/10/2004 14:33

Well not cheap, and you (or your mum) would have to get them shipped from the US, but these Hanna Andersson PJs are the softest, most comfortable things you've ever worn!

(Actually, I love all their clothes, especially the kids' clothes.)

try la senza for comfy bottoms and matching tops, or TK Maxx, they sometimes do designer nightwear for much cheaper.

posyhairdresser · 23/10/2004 14:34

Love the DKNY but £70 does seem a lot for PJs!
Redoute have some for about £15 in brushed cotton with matching slippers I think

Delovely · 23/10/2004 15:22

Redoute tip's a good one posy - these are quite nice - and VERY cheap ....

Can't link to specific products on the Redoute site, ah well.

KATG, those things are GORGEOUS- trying to work out if shipping from USA to UK will be prohibitively expensive! [ smile]

hoxtonchick · 23/10/2004 15:59

gap do some nice ones

Delovely · 23/10/2004 16:59

Oh why do I keep finding more pricey ones ?!

Oh I LOVE those pj's Kate! I am now envious of your house and your pj's

KateandtheGirls · 23/10/2004 18:35

I only have one pair MM, and I bought them off EBay. My kids have a couple of pairs though.

august24 · 23/10/2004 18:42

Hanna Anderson does ship here. The shipping isn't too bad considering we get $1.80(about) for each pound. The only issue, is it is anyones guess if the post office will charge you tax. Also check out Garnet Hill, they have nice things, pricey in the USA but with the exchange not so bad.

captainCOD · 23/10/2004 18:44

are the pink ones top right no good?

captainCOD · 23/10/2004 18:45

no top left

SofiaAmes · 24/10/2004 17:09

Primark has great, really really cheap pj's for adults and children.

kalex · 24/10/2004 18:14

Gree with SA, primark ones can be really nice, and very very cheap, so you won't feel bad binning them after DS decides that sleeping all night is a good thing

kalex · 24/10/2004 18:14

Gree, mean AGREE

jodee · 24/10/2004 19:17

There are some LOVELY ones here at Tchibo - I've ordered some for myself and ds! Cheap too!

cupcakes · 25/10/2004 11:14

Once you've started wearing pyjamas you may not want to bin them! I used to be a nudey sleeper but have found that I have a much better night's sleep when I have cosy pj's on - must be something about the warmth. I genuinely wake up feeling better! Hooray for pj's!
