You might have to go to Tescos / Tescos Extra store. Don't think they do many toys on their website.

charliecat · 20/10/2004 14:01

Not sure if Tecos online still does toys Do you not have a tescos near you? If not Sainsburys do a basic cheap starter set.

unicorn · 20/10/2004 14:09

also if you have an Ikea anywhere near.. they have a set for 6 pound!!!!!

they are brill, we just buy 'bits' now and they keep ds happy, and so much cheaper

ladymuck · 20/10/2004 18:32

Personally I don't rate the IKEA set - wonderfully cheap, but doesn't seem to fit as well with other sets (and it is very addictive to keep on buying bits!)

Dh was very keen to help with the shopping once he realised that Tesco sold pieces for the wooden sets!

codswallop · 20/10/2004 18:34

not quite the same thing, but this looks a lovely toy from tchibo (it's the wooden one for a tenner)

Skate · 27/10/2004 12:08

Yurtgirl - you don't need to spend that much!! Go to Tesco for gawd's sake!!!

Bloody marvellous, cheap, fits with every other track. We've got baskets full of it and they are getting more bridges in their stockings this year too! Got 3 ds's so all good value!

spikeycat · 27/10/2004 12:13

don't let your children put said little wooden trains in the bath - they fall to bits. I have learnt this the hard way!
