Rear facing buggy

Can anyone recommend a rear facing buggy? I have looked everywhere on-line for a light weight compact buggy that has front and rear facing options, that I could take on a plane but just can't find one. There is the Bugaboo but it is far too expensive. The icandy Cherry looks ideal but again is overpriced. Surely there must be an affordable version? Ideally I would like something around (or less than) £100 as I have already bought the expensive Quinny speedi system - this is great but the little one wants to face us and we'd like to chat to her! I would prefer something light to take on holiday. It seems that nothing meets my needs completely and it would be cheaper to buy a basic buggy for holidays and a better rear facing stroller than to fork for the designer models. I am amazed that with the many many systems for sale I can't find one to meet my requirements without being ripped off. Has anyone had similar thoughts?

Hi there, no answers really but just to say I did loads of research into this when pg - wanted rear facing and lightweight. Ended up with the cherry - it was by far the lightest I came across and was about half the price of the bugaboo. I don't think I came across anything that fits your ideal description. Let us know if you find something tho, and good luck.

we have started looking but there are NONE under £100 new anyway

the loola is forward or rear facing, theres a siver cross one (freeway i think) that can be either

bessmum -do let me know if you find what you are looking for

It looks impossible. The best seems to be the icandy cherry but it is over £200. A bit cheaper is the Hauck Infinity but reviews suggest they're a bit flimsy/unreliable. None of these sound suitable for taking on holiday. Looks like there is a bit of a gap in the market!
