sling advice for hands free carrying of 2 month old

just wanting some advice please. so many slings on the market.....

Am wanting to invest in some sort of wrap sling that I can carry ds1 in completely hands free. I've got a baby bjorn but he's already too heavy in it.

also have a hug-a-baby (which was fab for dd1 and dd2 when they were a bit older and had good head/neck support) but it's no good for just now as ds likes to be upright. he's 2 months at the moment.
Any advice? Are the stretchy ones really stretchy? my back's quite small so worry there'd be too much movement. There seem to be so many to choose from...
Also want it to be relatively simple to put him in and out - incase i end up having to take him out when I'm out (if you get what i mean!)

slacker no, not tried a Connecta with a newborn yet (working on TTC one atm!) but I've heard from those who have that it works fine - I think you can froggy the legs up just like you would in a normal Mei Tai.

This probably doesn't help but I've just bought a Calin Bleu fleecy sling. It's very similar to my Kari Me but not as stretchy so feels slightly firmer hold. Weirdly, I used to find the Kari Me too tight and enclosing when DD was newborn but now she's 4 months it can feel a bit too stretchy. But also, if like me you're using a sling for a large part of every day, I think it's useful to have more than one sling, even if they're fairly similar, as the weight is distributed in subtly different ways, so you can give different muscles a rest. (A bit like wearing different shoes) good luck and let us know what you finally go for. As for me, I reckon Mei Tei will be my next sling destination!

nearly there!
having spoken to the sling lady, I am down to moby stretchy - then if I really get into it when ds is bigger, the calin bleu gauze. i like the idea of it being a bit easier - ie wrap can be done once and then babe can be in and out a few times without re-wrapping. I also have a dd1 (4) and dd2 (2) so don't want to be faffing with a wrap while trying to also get them organised iyswim.

whats the calin bleu fleece like? (incidently the lady at the sling shop has one)

actually I'd say I'm 80% there. indecision!!!

go with the moby. if you get on with it, it is a while before you would get another one and by then you will be much more confident. You may decide you fancy something else as they choices are so varied.

Honestly, this is the tip of the iceberg!
