we used the one with the really long straps I think it is called willninet or something with wierd name.

we liked it because it supported DS head very well and was very comfortable DS went in it facing inwards towards us and outwards so could see where we were going.IYSWIM.

Some people say it is difficult to put on but after you have hang of it easy, put DS in the bed wrapped in it and then lift and wrap straps around yourself. One person can do it alone.

We also had a rigid back pack one for when he was older that we used mainly for flying. Can't remember its name it had a bar that made it stable for putting on ground to put DS in/out.It also had a zip up bag on back.

Lots of different people have favourites well thats ours

I liked the wilkinet one too, although it took me a while to get used to it - once I got over this initial hurdle, I found it great.

I had the baby bjorn one- i thought it was good when dd was tiny- they do recommend it up till 22 lbs, she's 8 1/2 months now and about 19lbs but i wouldn't fancy carrying her in it now-

wilkienet wilkienet wilkienet. i loved mine and still carry dd in it (she is nine months). it is really good for the back and it is good for baby as they are supported really well. you can get them second hand on ebay. get the raincover as it is good for protecting against wind and you will use it more. also you can choose what colour you want and co-ordinate your outfits!

Sorry, but I hated the Wilkinet, you need to have at least six hands to do it properly. It sounds wonderful in theory, and I'm sure that once you get used to it it's fine, but it's a real fiddle. Have a look at the instructions for it on their website and see if you feel athletic enough to try it! I've got one you can buy if you want it - only ever used to try and get the hang of it because I couldn't, and my daughter hated it anyway. They're also more expensive than most - mine cost £46 - so if you hate it it's a waste of money.

We used, and use, the Kelty Kids Kangaroo. (And loaned it to two other women between babies.) I think it's quite pricey, but really lovely. I don't think it's designed for nursing, but I find I can nurse a baby in it perfectly happily.

The best thing about it is, it's in two parts. You put the baby in his bit, you put on the harness, and the two snap together. This makes it really easy to use.
