Looking for something along these lines for a 9-month-old, but not so expensive. Plainer designs are fine. Any ideas where to look?

here ?
I think if you go too cheap they will just fall to bits

Delovely · 16/10/2004 20:10

Celt Boots don't seem to have the ugg-style ones in baby sizes. Good point about cheaper boots but I'd at least like to see what's available at the bottom end!

I don't think you'll get boots for a baby anywhere, I really don't - you tend to only get cruiser shoes for that age.

EvesMama · 16/10/2004 20:28

next do their version of these boots, friend has some for 2yr old, not sure about 9 months?hth

woodpops · 16/10/2004 20:50

I think Next have got them for babys in their Xmas supplement. My dd 22 months has a pink pair. They're fab!!

Delovely · 16/10/2004 21:38

Can't find them in baby sizes on the Next site but will check the Xmas supplement when I receive it. Have definitely seen them on babies Jools!

My friend's dd got them for her first birthday. Baby pink. But sent from New Zealand, no help really.

finleysmum · 16/10/2004 23:07

Try Ebay-someone is selling these to fit babies and they are genuine UGGS.

toddlerbob · 17/10/2004 07:16

Haven't found ugg boots, but what about these:

bobux zebra boots

On sale at only NZ$18 (about 6 quid) then there would be the postage of course - but you can't have everything!

I know its not the same thing, but muddypuddles.com do some thermal soft pre-wellies which are really cute, for a tenner.

Delovely · 17/10/2004 12:08

Can't find the ebay ones but found some fake ones in the Next a/w catalogue which are nice - thanks everyone!

pumpkin patch?

After the thread about the horrors of shoes on babies, I think I'll go for Green Baby's sheepskin bootees. I know DS should strictly be barefoot but come on, we're heading for the coldest winter for 100 years!!

WigWamBam · 18/10/2004 10:33

Each to her own, but I didn't put my daughter in shoes even over the winter when she was 6 - 9 months old. As long as they're wrapped up warm, socks, blanket and cosytoes in a pushchair are enough.

Delovely · 19/10/2004 13:36

Aha! \link{http://www.justsheepskin.com/productDetails.asp?prodID=129}Found them!!!} Just what I wanted, and only £12! Shoe police, please don't despair - I promise I'll only use them for really short periods and will whip them off once indoors.

Zinger, are we headed for cold winter? Can't wait!
Whatever shoe police (my relatives) may say, still say Ugg boots are hideous but these ones would be small and hideous!
