Good handheld hoover?

Does anyone know of a good handheld hoover that isn't a complete rip off like the dyson ones? We're currently decorating and it would be really helpful if we had a handheld hoover. Thanks

I bought a mains powered hand-held Hoover (made by Hoover) and found it really difficult to get the dust container off - until a bit broke off and now it won't stay on!

I had a Black and Decker rechargeable one and that was so weak you had to push the dirt against something and then using a scooping action try and get it into the container.
Can't help with what you should buy but will be watching to see what others suggest. Smile

Thanks for the reply. It seems like a lot of them are cheaper for a reason however I've seen one on amazon that has really good reviews and is only £30. Just don't know whether to take the riskHmm

I think £30 is in the cheap area, if you are planning on using while decorating you may find the opening is rather small and stuff like plaster dust can really gum things up inside.

Builders tend to use a Henry hoover as they’re pretty indestructible.
Plaster dust can really clog up these new hand held types.
I know a Henry isn’t hand held but it might be best if you’re doing a lot of decorating/building type work.

I ordered one from amazon and it's great, only for picking up small bits of dust which was the intention. We have a henry one but it's just so heavy and because I'm pregnant I feel 1000x more lazy so can't be bothered carrying it around the whole house😅 Thanks for the help
