Anyone got one?
What do I need to know? What sort of things are/ are not worth bothing about?
Who would you recommend/avoid?

I am told they may even be having sales at this time of year

B&Q also does a range:
Garden Office

funnypeculiar · 02/10/2007 15:09

oh, thanks both
Think the B&Q ones may be more on budget than some of the lovely gariundiad ones

how did you mis-word your previous thread?

"oh my fucking god I need a garden office"?

"wanted: Garden orifices"

"Gordon's Orifices"

am very curious

funnypeculiar · 02/10/2007 15:34

Nothing as interesting. Sadly.

I merely said home office, & everyone did my links to lovely chairs for me.

flowerybeanbag · 02/10/2007 17:37

fp won't you need a lovely chair in your shed luxurious office?

Twiglett · 02/10/2007 17:40

LOL at Squonk

funnypeculiar · 02/10/2007 19:35

No chairs needed, not enough orifices in 'em

Oh I want one. I want a spare room in the garden though, with a HUGE bed and a bath and huge windows. And complete peace and quiet.

WideWebWitch · 02/10/2007 19:36

Hang on, linked to some ages ago, they were lush

we have a garden office, well its more of a studio that dh uses to paint in (he is a portrait painter). we have this It's big, but our garden is big enough to take it. didn't need planning permission as it's wood, it's classed as a temporary structure and is below 3m in height, but we did notify the local council and the neighbours that could see it.

it is built on a slab base, and we paid for the company we bought it from to build it as it came in kit form, it took 3 men 5 days to finish. after that dh has painted the whole building with a wood preserver, then a protective coloured stain, fitted laminate flooring, electricity and lights, and also an air conditioning unit which heats the building in the winter. he uses it every day, and most evenings, it was either build this, or look for other premises to rent but we've done that before and when you add up rent, bills and business rates, it made sense to have somewhere at home but separate from the house.

here, I linked to some, they look fab

DottydotsofBloodOnTheFloor · 02/10/2007 20:28

Oh. I thought you meant little gardens for in offices - you know, to cheer us office-bound people up. Had got little tiny bits of grass and plants in lovely pots pictured and was getting all excited until I opened some of the links.
