Anyone heard of PUKY products (like Kettler)

A German make. They make really sturdy kids outdoor products, like bikes, trikes and scooters.

I have been researching scooters for my boys birthday, and very nearly bought a Razor (similar to Micro), but reviews told me how dangerous they can be, so have resorted back to something a little more sturdy.

Ive found these guys: PUKY.

Anyone heard of them, or got their products?

I bought a Kettler trike about 2 years ago, and its great. Im hoping PUKY will be the same.

thanks

I'm sure I've seen them referred to on here before -have you done search on mn for mentions?

DS had a PUKY ride-on car and has now progressed to a PUKY scooter (the smallest size) and a PUKY bike without pedals. They are all fab, really robust and well made. We live in Switzerland and you see loads of them out and about here.

puky are the standard mode of transport for children in my area - ds has one as do most of his friends. they are certainly sturdy and robust.

nappyaddict · 01/10/2007 16:10

they were mentioned on here

pneumatic tyres are the best.

DS's bike is a PUKY.
They are v good quality, and not the cheapest models you can get, but worth it if you want them to endure.

Very robust popular in Switzerland too. Similar quality to Kettler

dd has a puky bike. it's fine, nice and sturdy, but tbh I'm not sure if it's worth the money. However, it's yellow, so we're expecting it to transfer to ds. As most bikes are pink or boy-colour, this was a plus.

Also, is it 'pucky' or 'pukey' or 'pooky'?

Wolfgirl · 01/10/2007 19:28

oh wow, thanks ladies. Im pretty sold on the PUKY tbh; and like someone said, if you get the right colours it could pass on to second child (even though she is a girl).

The cheapest I have found is this one, and its free delivery

R08L looks good

And yes, they are VERY expensive, but Ive looked and looked and looked, and these are the best ones Ive come up with. As I say, the Razor and Micro-lites I just dont think are suitable for his age (4, but the size of a 5-6 year old!)

If anyone is selling one......LOL
