Driving with no insurance

So, one of my friends disclosed to me that she drove her partners car, for a pretty lengthy journey (5 hours ish). The vehicle is insured but she is not a driver listed on this. This occurred yesterday and she wasn’t pulled over or anything by the police but she is incredibly anxious and will not stop bothering me about it. I don’t know much about all this but is she safe as she wasn’t pulled over? Looking for something to reassure her and stop her from constantly texting me about it Confused

*Your friend is a fucking utter cunt for driving without insurance and its people like her that force premiums up for the rest of us law abiding motorists.

I hope she gets caught soon and banned.*

Me too.

Does depend a bit how you are using the word 'partner'. You generally can't be insured 3rd party, through your own insurance, if you live at the same address as the car owner.

I can't understand how, one day, she was happy to drive for 5 HOURS without insurance, then the next day she is SO anxious about it that she is continually texting you Confused

Either you are the kind of selfish git that doesn't give a monkeys, or you are a normal, law abiding person who wouldn't do this.

That is shocking. I’d tell her to fuck off and stop using you to assuage her guilty conscience. I’d say she’ll get away with it but she doesn’t deserve to. So irresponsible.
