Mini or something else

Hello,

I’m looking to buy my first ever car and have convinced myself that a Mini, being the car I passed my driving test in 11 years ago, is the way to go. I have driven only a handful of times since then because I am not a confident driver.

I have a 5-year-old, so, is a 3-door Mini annoying to get a small child in and out of or should I focus on 5-door cars instead and just learn to drive in one of those?

Thoughts gratefully received.

I have a 5 door Mini and I adore it (her). My 6ft 4 DH fits in comfortably which he can't in all cars, Audi for example. He reckons it's todo with the relative proportions and the shape of the roof.

Regularly transport my 9 and 12 year old around plus a hockey goalkeeper kit. Weekly shop goes in the boot.

She's fab to drive and feels very solid. I've not done many long drives of over a couple of hours but I find it comfortable when I do.

I have a 5 door mini with 2 boys and tall husband and I love it. I also drive alot for work and I am looking to get a newer one when I change my car in the next few months. I have also had other small cars and my mini is by far the best one and the boot is reasonable size too.
