Baby Doll suitable for 2year old

My DD is really getting into playing with dolls. She want to dress them, bath them and change their bottoms !
All her dolls at the moment are the soft (fabric) bodied type with plastic arms, legs & head. I want to get her a new doll for her 2nd birthday, that has a proper body, but I think she is too young for the Baby Annabels, Baby Borns etc.

Can anyone reccomend a good in between doll.

Baby Annabel do my 1st baby Annabel suitable from 1yr. My dd has one but they are soft bodied. I'd get her one of the ones that comes in a set with the bath, potty etc. My dd has dolls suitable from 3 yars even though she won't be 2 until Dec. My ds is 3 and dd plays quite hapily and safely with his toys for 3 year olds.

am planning to get the ELC doll that currently comes with the free accessories - its got floppy arms and legs and is same size as Baby Annabel, etc. I don't don't like the noises that all those babies do (we'll have the real thing soon enough!!)so thought this would be a good one. I think a 2 year old could play with these ones all the same - my dd is 3.

popsp, my dd2 is 2 next week and my mum gave her a proper grown up baby annabel (a few weeks early as we went up to visit) - she loves it, feeds it, takes it for walks, changes its bottom etc etc, we keep it turned off most of the time but I can highly recommend it. We also had an old First Tiny Tears that used to belong to dd1, but I am afraid she has now been abandoned since the arrival of Annabel.

I think its the lips moving when it sucks its bottle that she is fascinated by. The noises aren't too bad, honestly, I was worried before hand

Hana, dd has the ELC doll and loves it. She even hangs the changing bag on the back of the buggy like a real mummy and bless her she's only 22 months. The doll is lovely when she's dressed but dd took it's clothes off last week and boy is it odd looking.

My son (21 months) loves Baby Annabel. It's his sister's but he carries it around everywhere. He loves feeding it but we haven't shown him the bottle yet - worried he'll try and plug in anything. Going to buy him a buggy for Christmas. He loves to make it laugh but we do keep it switched off most of the time.

I just found this pram package on Index. You seem to get a lot for your money, I don't know what the quality will be like though.

Sorry I've never tried posting a link before, go to Index and search for Charlotte.

DD was 2 in September and she loves her baby Annabel. Admittedly it is 8 years old (it was my sisters - she never played with it so mum put it away) so it may not have all the features the new ones do, but its fine for her.

DD got a Baby Annabel for Christmas. She was 20 months old. She adores her and she is played with every single day, and has to come on journeys with us often.

I got DD Little Lucy, from ELC. She also comes with £20 worth of bits and bobs too, at the mo. Doll is £15. She's v cute, too. In fact so cute and such good value that I immediately got on the phone and got all evangelical about her to all my friends with DD's under 5 !

DS has baby tooda - named by himself and a friend bought him it for his birthday
it is a cheap woollies baby doll
it is a very basic one with a soft body

he loves her and has to have her in bed with him at night - not been like that about any other toy!

Good job really, as neighbour was over this morning and her DD (who is 16 months) wouldn't leave her alone
