Any cheaper than bugaboo?
We are in an urban situation and I have some wrist problems, so easy to push would be an advantage.

Thanks, but too expensive, and must have a very good carrying basket

i've got the zooper zydeco and i love it. huge basket too.

We've ordered the icandy cherry - 300pounds inc the carrycot - its very, very light - about 5kg - half the weight of a bugaboo and fine for round town as doesn't have inflatable tyres. Poss not so good for off-road, but depends what you want it for... Its very easy to use, compatible with maxi-cosi car seat (unlike bugaboo, fixtures included) and pram part can either face you or away.

hauck infinity- can't beat it!

nappyaddict · 24/09/2007 12:44

the only problem with the hauck infinity, and icandy pushchairs is the seat is only suitable from 6 months but lots of babies outgrow the carrycot before 6 months.

What ever you do don't get a Buzz - it weighs a ton and is heavy to push. Mine has had a flat for 3 weeks - says it all really doesn't it!

mutsy- you can get lite chassis or urban chassis,
seat faces either way,
you can put carrycot on it,
fair size shopping basket,
lovely sun canopy available

i have one for sale--email me if interested

Britax vigour? It's light & easy to push & has a fairly decent shopping basket. Seat unit reclines practically flat, so although its says to use from 6 months you could get away with it from newborn if you padded it out with a cosytoes (or buy the carrycot as well). My only gripe with it is the seat unit is on the small side, so not great for a huge toddler. They've been out for a year or so now, so starting to come up cheap on eBay. Also, new model due out soon, so old stock should be selling cheap.

I love my Firstwheels City Elite. Very very similar to the bugaboo but it's easy to get deals on it making it half the price of a bugaboo. Pram part is suitable from 6 months, a maxicosi car seat fits it with adapters. Nice big basket (can fit 2 loaves of bread and a 4 pint bottle of milk). Turns on a sixpence. Not the lightest pram out there but still lighter than some. It's also smaller than a lot of similar style prams. I only have to take 1 wheel off to fit it in the boot of my tiny car, and most similar style prams wouldn't fit in at all.

Inglesina Otutto?

It's a really great pram - completely lie-flat seat (can be used as a carrycot), umbrella fold chassis, really comfy and cosy.

If you're interested, I am selling mine (have had to upgrade to a double ) - only 6 months old and in great condition.
