Anyone who has a NINtendo Wii, could you tell me what you think of it please?

Thinking of getting one for the family for christmas, what does everyone think of them. Thanks

We have just (literally) bought DD one for her Birthday, we have all enjoyed playing it, we have the sports game, Cars, SpongeBob and Meet The Robinsons.

We discovered that Amazon seemed to be the cheapest on games, but it is worthwhile having a look around, because every shop seems to price them differently!

We ordered one from Amazon about 3 weeks ago which apparently will not be ready for dispatch until end of Oct! I hope it's not going to be another Amazon delivery cock-up at that point - although the delay may be due to ordering a couple of extra bits with the Wii.

Have been looking on ebay at the bundles available there too.

I started a thread on this a few weeks ago too TR and general consensus on here agreed with RL friends who said it was fab, I have bought ours now( my sister is actually giving it as our family's gift)and am itching to get it out and play with it! Really hope Wii fit comes out before Christmas, that looks fab!

This thread has just sorted out DS1 and DS2's christmas present! Could anyone tell me what wii fit is please and will it cost a fortune?

my friend bought her son one yesterday for his birthday and after the initial hour of excitement this morning it was brought to my house for my kids to borrow for the weekend as he was bored already with it.

I really fancy one of these (nevermind the DSs ).

All that talk of running out just before Christmas - made me order one just now for DH, he has been craving one of these since they came out.

Also Amazon keeps running out of stock - when I was looking, I could only see the ones from the marketplace (£199.99) rather that the one I saw this morning at £179.99 from Amazon. Now it is saying there are none in stock again

Or it could just be a marketing play or to stop people buying loads then selling them at inflated prices on ebay like last year.
