dh bought a new duvet recently - but it's very lightweight and I know it won;t be warm enough for me in winter. so i thought it was an ideal excuse to buy a nice blanket or throw. off I pop, aspirationally, to the White Co website and what do I find? who buys this stuff

i'm with you nqc - neither small or shy - but up for smaller meet ups. can we tempt you down tamum? and you of course hat, from the far reaches of south west london.

Tamum · 16/09/2007 18:28

A small shy people meet-up would be good, yes, even if there were big people at it- you and I could probably knit hatwoman a blanket while we were there.

hoxtonchick · 16/09/2007 18:30

oh god, don't limit it to knitters . though i have gatecrashed knitting meet ups before....

Tamum · 16/09/2007 18:34

If there was a teeny weeny meet-up and I could get away then I would, yes

NotQuiteCockney · 16/09/2007 18:52

Ah, but if you did gatecrash a knitters meeting, would your DS say a Rude Word in front of my MIL?

NotQuiteCockney · 16/09/2007 18:53

another knitters meet-up I mean. (I am so tired and non-trivially hungover today )

hoxtonchick · 16/09/2007 18:54

i remember the incident but can't remember the word .... was it bugger?

NotQuiteCockney · 16/09/2007 18:54

I think so. It wasn't fuck or anything really bad. Might have been shit?
