I'm 5'1'' and need to buy a new pushchair that is a comfortable height. I've been looking at the Mothercare website at the Maclarens because they're so popular but the handles seem quite high. I've also looked at the Chicco CTO6 and was wondering if that might be any better. I don't want to pay much more than £100. Any suggestions most welcome.

I'm 5 ft nothing and have a maclaren techno xt and have no problems at all with it. Its a really good strong buggy don't know how much they are but mine was £99 from kiddicare a few years ago. If you have a John Lewis nearby you can go in and try them all out. hth

i'm 5 2 and have always felt mor e comfy with the higher handles. ive seen six footers bent over a pushchair that i would classify as to low, and they insist they are comfortable.
its all about personal preference

there s a rather bargainous pushchair or two on tchibo right now.

the pushchair one looks perfect for you (i too am a shortarse) and is only 49 squid! was soooooooooooooooooo tempted to buy one , which is ridiculous as A- i hardly even use the sodding things anymore and B-i have far too many already.

Thank you all for getting back to me. I think I'll go into Mothercare and try some out.

I'm 4'11 and have a silver cross 3d which is a little height but not at all unconfortable. the handles move up and DH prefers the higer setting although he is not overly tall either.
I also have a micralite and this handle is great as it is very adjustable you use an allen key to move it up and down.
