hi my dd got her the baby annabel one but she is two now and it's still too big (you know high up)

my sister got dd a silvercross one fro xmas last year when she was about 14 months and it's perfect just the right height etc and came with a huge selection of stuff like a travel cot, nappy bag with lots of bottles and nappies, a bouncy cahir and a parasol it was only £30 from woolies

hth

The ELC pram has proved to be a big hit in our house. Dd1 (6) has just graduated to a baby annabel pram which is higher, but dd2 (nearly 2) still loves the ELC one which is better suited to her height

£6 from Early Learning Centre

I was swayed by: I needed 2, no way was I spending a fortune and who wants 10 tons of accessories to clog up my house?

and if they turn out not to be interested (ours get played with in fits and starts) then no biggy as you have not spent £££££

Its my mum who wants to buy it and she wanted to buy a traditional type pram rather than a buggy

have just checked the woolies website and they still have that set for £19!! bargain

the only thing is that if your psuhed for space it doesn't umbrella fold

have also seen on the argos website a quinny zapp one that looks ace but it's thirty quid!!

oliveoil · 12/09/2007 13:28

argos

but THINK: do you want a pile of crap in the corner

FLIER · 12/09/2007 13:29

Yeah, saw it mustsleep, £19 is a bargain, but only if you have space for all the bit and bobs! lol.
Am now looking around for just a pram.
Quinny zap looks good, but £30!

I would avoid the little light weight buggy types for now as they really aren't very stable, and often children this age tend to still lean forward and push down on the handles a bit too much - and then the buggies topple.

I bought my 1yo neice a pram from Toys R Us. It has an adjustable handle height, and was a it more sturdy - meaning it was much less likely to be pulled over or topple backwards. It was similar to this. Could be laid flat like a pram or the back/foot rest changed to be like a buggy. Baby doll faces them too which my neice liked.

Thanks hulababy, that looks ideal!
Will show my mum today.

dd had this one which converts to a cradle when they outgrow the pram.
