Large family

We are expecting DC4 and we have a large dog.
We need to be able to fit 2 isofix seats and 2 high back boosters in. The dog and a double buggy!

Everyone's answer is the caravelle but we went to look at one and I don't think the boot is the best solution as the dog and buggy wouldn't fit in very well together. As the space is sort of thin and tall rather then deep.

The other option seems to be the Volvo XC90 but does anyone have this with someone in the back and car seats in the middle row? How is it for access?

Any suggestions would be great!

Did you look at the short or long wheelbase Caravelle? The LWB version should have plenty of boot space for your requirements.

An alternative is the Citroën Spacetourer, Peugeot Traveller, Vauxhall Vivaro Life and Toyota ProAce Verso, which are actually all the same vehicle underneath the badges. Like the Caravelle they are based on a panel van and they also come in a long wheelbase version which has plenty of cargo space. All six seats in rows two and three come with isofix points too, which is very unusual - if you put them in row three then you won't be having to climb over them to access the other seats.

Just to suggest an alternative - a Multimac seat (a Google search will bring up their website). We have an old Qashqai+2 with 3 children and have a Multimac seat across the second row that fits all 3 children. You can also get seats to fit all 4 across the second row too. Rather costly, but it was cheaper for us to buy than get a new car (we prefer to buy cash). Also means we still have the boot for the pushchair and everything else!
