Bouncer or Swing?

Help! I am a (still pregnant) first time mum, researching everything but I don't know if spending £80 on a baby swing that vibrates is worth it or will a bouncer be sufficient?
All help and recommendations are welcome, TIA Confused

I think every baby is different so it's hard to know, but for us we bought a swing and were gifted a bouncer as they aren't too expensive. DD loves the swing and it has honestly been a godsend! Shes so content in it for ages and it's allowed me to get housework done and generally chill for an hour.

She hates the bouncer, even more so when it vibrates so it's barely been used. Keeping it for future babies though because i am certain no two are the same!

My DS loved his jumperoo - you can find some really cheap ones second hand. Worth a try and you've not lost much if doesn't go down well!

With both of mine I used a bouncer and found them very useful especially as they got a little older to help them look around. As for a jumperoo you won't need one till the baby is about 5 months old at least. And as a previous poster said you can pick them up for a very good price second hand.
(I actually sold mine last week for £20)

We have a Jumperoo in the living room now she's six months, also bought second hand. Agree with PP you don't need one just yet - wait a few month THEY TAKE UP SO MUCH SPACE!

Every child is different - my first loved his swinging chair and the second loved his vibrating chair.

Definitely buy second hand and definitely buy a jumperoo - they are worth every penny!

I also got a lot of use out of the playmat that made sounds when you kick certain parts for both of my boys.

My baby hated his swinger it didn't get much use at all.

I picked up a second hand jumperoo on fb for £20 and baby absolutely loves it - plus it's safe to pop baby in if you need to answer the door or quickly make a cuppa.

They do take up lots of space but I saw this on fb quite recently apparently they do fold...haven't tried with mine, I've accepted it's part of the furniture now. (Hopefully pic uploads)

Jumperoo later, but we found a babybjorn bouncing chair invaluable for a younger baby. Doesn’t look like much, but upright enough to allow babies to follow what is going on around them, and light enough that any movement by them bounces themselves.

Smile Thanks everyone
