Phil and ted Sport Buggy Question

I have the above buggy for my daughters. The youngest is only 5 weeks old so is in the flat position in the carry cot with number two daughter sitting in the seat above. My question is, at what age can I put the youngest in the seat that sits behind her big siser? I can't find anywhere that recommends this. I also can't imagine her putting up with being in the carry cot for more than 3-4 months.

Hi, we have one of these, bought for many reasons but a big one was that DS2 could lie flat for 6 months. however he has just turned 13 weeks and I have put him in the back seat with the zips undone for the last week. he is a big baby and would scream constantly when in the pushchair, however since I moved him he has been fantastic. It's not ideal as I wanted him to lie flat for longer, but he's not in the pushchair for hours and it's no more upright than a car seat! HTH

We've also got the sport buggy and I actually asked the same question the other week!
I thought it was 6 months but someone else said it was 4 months with the sport buggy. Our ds2 is 17 weeks and I put him in the back seat last week briefly while we went to the doctors. He is also a big baby and although he seemed ok in there(with the zips undone)he didn't look as comfy as when he's lying flat.
I think if it's only for a short journey, then it can't do any harm as most car seats/swings etc... aren't completely flat

I've got my little on in the seat behind and he's 3 1/2 months. He's been there on and off for a few weeks now.

Related question: I'm considering the Sport, but heard that there's an even newer version, the GT, out later this year; does anyone hae any info on this?

MiggyPop · 20/08/2007 09:15

The GT is basically going to be like the Sport but with an Aluminium Frame so it'll be lighter. It will also be silver colour and I think the fabric choices will be abit different; i.e chocolate.

It's supposed to be out in December here in Oz...but who knows?

Alva · 20/08/2007 12:58

Thanks Miggy - lighter and chocolate sounds good! No 2 is due in December, so if they are rolling this one out in the UK at the same time it might just be here in time.

Alva · 20/08/2007 16:33

Just contacted P&T's UK supplier and got this message:

The GT should be launched in the UK by us in early October. They will be available to all our stockists in the UK but we do not have any
details of it as yet.

Sounds quite hopeful...

MiggyPop · 20/08/2007 23:20

Typical! You get all the groovy prams WAY before us here in Oz.

Alva · 20/08/2007 23:25

V. odd, considering it's an antipodean one! Still, we'll see if it actually gets here then - this particular buggy has been trailed forever...

has anyone took out the cucoon and laid the baby flat in there like with some buggy snuggle or loads of blankets? i was thinking i'd have to do that in between cucoon and going into the seat because my dc2 is huge! (also 5wks but his feet are right @ the end of the cucoon already) if ne1 did that did u find it okay?
