yes. they are clearly for girls.

BreeVanDerCampLGJ · 15/08/2007 15:45

I can't say I blame them....

All the school aged boys I know would be mortified to think they had to use a princess toothbrush.

DD has a new HSM toothbrush. It plays "we all in this together" for two minutes as she brushes. Very quite if not applying pressure, louder the more she brushes properly. She loves it

LIZS · 15/08/2007 15:48

no way !

Tutter · 15/08/2007 15:50

but 2 yo boys would prob love them

(ds1 going through a very pink phase - chose pink gingerbread butterfly over gingerbread train in waitrose)

OO - it is fine, not very loud. DD love sit though, so her teeth are getting extra cleaning at the moment. Mind we only got it yesterday so maybe it will be driving me mad shortly.

Aimsmum - my parents have just got back from America and they bought it for DD whilst over there. As soon as they spotted it they knew DD would love it even if it drove the grown ups mad!

DS2 would be appalled, DS1 might not be which would be more worrying.

Have I missed the bit where you explain how such a thing has happened? Do they have Bratz flannels to go with?

Ladymuck · 15/08/2007 22:39

Have they left home yet? Your oldest 2 are way too old for that! Surely it is only for the embarrassing photos to put off girlfirends?

Hulababy · 15/08/2007 22:46

I daren't show DD anymore HSM stuff cod. LOL! She is a child obsessed She has already spotted the HSM dolls in Argos, and has managed to aquire two t shirts out of us. She is so excited about Friday night, she has it all planned out for her late night in front of the TV, popcorn, pp, etc. DH just can't wat LOL!

WanderingTrolley · 15/08/2007 22:50

Yes, why the girly toothbrushes?

Are you secretly longing for a girl?!

I once had someone suggest to me that giving boys girls' things is "dangerous."

I was unable to find out the exact peril as leaning on a wall wailing with laughter.

Sorry but crap excuse, especially from a queen of shoppers! I bet they would have prefered ordinary adult toothbrushes to princess ones. You'll feel guilty when those cavities appear...

unknownrebelbang · 16/08/2007 22:23

I reckon mine would refuse to use them.

mollymawk · 16/08/2007 22:27

My DS1 (very nearly school age - starting in Sept) would love one as long as it was pink.

I can't believe you'd expect them to be anything but horrified. Couldn't you get to another shop? Farking lazy imo.

tatt · 16/08/2007 22:39

Not if anyone could see them. Must have been something else you could have bought.

elliott · 16/08/2007 22:44

Mine would use them without too much fuss - I mean its not like anyone else will see them is it? They are a bit younger though (3 and 5).

Ladymuck · 16/08/2007 23:01

I'm sure cod's ds1 must be 8 or 9 by now.
