Does anybody know where I can buy Lelli Kelly shoes (not on-line)? DD would like some for her birthday, I am not sure myself so would like to see them first.

I buy them in Guildford. Russell and Bromley stock. They are fab - like shoes designed by a small girl. They are expensive but I have had three pairs and they go in washing machine in a lingerie bag and they are 'proper' shoes.
Found out they do them in my size and thought about it for about 1/2 second

There's one here so i'll try them. I know they are expensive - but it's part of her b'day present so don't mind too much as long as they are good quality. I have seen them and they are very pretty....not sure how pracical though...

Just looked on the russell and bromley website - it only lists the brands that they stock not the actual shoes.

the sell them in a shoe shop in broughty ferry if you live there (long shot)
they are ncie shoes, and can be machine washed

FLIER · 14/08/2007 15:48

I saw them in Ravel a few months back.

ditto Russell and Bromley.....

They are very solid and good quality IMHO

It looks like a trip to Russell and Bromley then. Sounds like they won't be a waste of money.

Jones sell them .

ahundredtimes · 14/08/2007 17:12

Oh gawd are you sure? I've heard all the beads and bits fall off?

Look like a waste of money to me. I told dd doodles will do just fine. Though if it's her birthday I suppose.

Annoys me though, they've just been got by the advertisers and the promise of that blardy make-up mobile thing.

cardy · 15/08/2007 18:44

Everyone on here seems to think they are OK. I wouldn't buy them if it wasn't for a birthday present. Found them in Jakes today.

Would n't buy them personally tbh unless significantly reduced , but have brainwashed dd so well that she turned down a pair of (not too sparklly) boots at £20 !

helenelisabeth · 15/08/2007 21:25

MY DD has had 4 pairs of them (novelty thus totally worn off) since last November - they are lovely IF your child is not a tomboy and they need washing weekly (which is what my DD's needed), then the beads do fall off and they start looking really tatty!

Other than that, they are lovely but not worth £40 IMHO.

SixInTheBed · 15/08/2007 21:51

DD got black flowery shoes and pink nubuck boots last winter (sales bargains)Wore loads. She's an outdoorsy kind of girl but the shoes are still going strong.Would buy again. They were leather though don't know what the canvas ones are like.

ahundredtimes · 15/08/2007 22:31

You're just playing into the hands of silly advertisers who sell without conscience to your daughter on children's telly. This can't be right. They are a rip off.

Resist.

puffling · 15/08/2007 22:38

You can get some lovely Converses in Office, not with sparly bits on, but cute nonetheless.

ahundredtimes · 15/08/2007 22:39

Now I quite like Converse

cardy · 17/08/2007 15:07

DD hasn't seen them on telly, her friend has some which she has coverted for months. Are they advertised on telly? I haven't seen them.

As they are a birthday present they k etc. - she has ordinary Clarks ones for that.

I just wanted to know where stocks them.
