Grobags...anyone NOT use them?

I am wondering if my dd is irritated by her grobag at night...could it be making her more uncomfotable because she finds it difficult to shift about in a find a comfy sleep position? She's 11 months and is in a 6-18month one... (which she loves and calls it her 'stars' cos it has stars on... obviously). What do you reckon... and what would i use instead...blankets pointless. tia.

I grew up in the Mediterranen and and they used to wrap up babies till their temples were bulging, maybe I am protesting against that but at the same time don't want a baby growing up like a Geordie out on the town (vest and hotpants in January)I am sure dd will let me know if she is not comfy.

Not used them, largely because my grandmother went on a mega crocheting kick at the arrival of her great-grandson & bombarded me with beautiful blankets - seemed rather churlish not to make use of them (especially since she died 2 weeks ago )

Ds seems fine in sleepsuits with feet, topped with 1/2 layers of blankets - I still wake up at 4am even though he's taken to sleeping thro', so I check on them then & make sure he's not kicked everything off.

I just look at those gro-bag thingies & think they look a bit restrictive (think I'm projecting, as I'm 6' & consequently loathe sleeping bags myself!) - could you do a cover - thin blanket or something - OVER the gro-bag for a bit, then see if she's happy to lose the gro-bag?
