Dd turned 1 this month, and her feet poke out of rainhood (she was a long baby!)

Can you buy bigger ones? Don't want to buy new buggy..........

Muddy Puddles do some soft things like wellies but no sole, just waterproof all over. WE had a apir and they were great!!

Might be better than wet feet.

MrsBadger · 26/07/2007 15:50

we used to have these when we were little...

CarGirl · 26/07/2007 15:51

what buggy is she in????? The mind boggles at the raincover being too short already!

NAB3 · 26/07/2007 15:51

I took my buggy back when the raincover wasn't long enough. Had it more than a few months so got a credit note.

mustrunmore · 26/07/2007 15:51

these, teamed up with the all in one perhaps?

Pabamella · 26/07/2007 15:53

Id use that as a great excuse to buy a new buggy

one she fits in!

fizzbuzz · 26/07/2007 19:49

Buggy is in dp's car, so can't remember.

I think it is a Chicco London, it was recommended by Mumsnet anyway, and that was why I bought it!

Rainncover tucks securely under bottom of seat bit, so not much room for leg extension.
That waterproof cape thingy looks quite good, and cheap! Is there such a thing as a universal raincover?

And while I am on the subject, footmuff won't fit this winter either. Anyone help on t5hat!?

buggysnuggles are long, yes you could buy a universal raincover from mothercare that should go down to the foot rest? You want a framed one, check out ebay.

fizzbuzz · 26/07/2007 19:57

Have checked on Babies r us website, and they do loads of universal ones, so problem may be solved

Still footmuff problem though....

Thanks cargirl. What are babysnuggles?

kittywits · 26/07/2007 19:59

I think if they're in a big thick outdoor suit then they don't need a cosy toesby the time they're one.

CarGirl · 26/07/2007 20:01

buggysnuggles are a brand of cosytoe that come up longer than standard and should fit up to 3 years

fizzbuzz · 26/07/2007 22:05

I agree about not needing cosytoes if in snowsuit. But all snowsuits seem to stop at 12-18 months, and if they ever do go above that, they never have detachable bootes.

I hate seeing cold little legs poking out of a snowsuit, with bare skin and then socks, it goes through me.

welly boots

kittywits · 26/07/2007 22:24

I've got a 2-3 year snowsuit, it's lovely and cosy and with thick socks and boots it does the trick

fizzbuzz · 27/07/2007 08:46

Where did you get it from?

OP posts:
kittywits · 27/07/2007 09:14

Adams, but I'm pretty sure that woolies do bigger sizes. Hennes are also great for padded suits, probably best to check them out in the autumn

mumlove · 27/07/2007 14:06

Argos sell 2 raincovers, I would go in and try them on the buggy. www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?prodPage=10&sort_field=Lowest+price&storeId= 10001&catalogId=10651&langId=-1&freeText=RAINCOVER&categoryName=categoryroot&subCategoryName=Toys+a nd+baby&category=8560071&infocatcount=5&catcrumb=1%7Ecategoryroot%7EToys+and+baby%7E8560071%7ERAIN COVER%7E5%7E&infobrowse_level=1&x=10&y=18
