This is my first Christmas shopping in the UK for children (been abroad), so can anyone recommend any good charity catalogues as I'd like to do as much shopping from them as possible.

TIA

The Unicef Catalogue does very good quality cards, some nice gifts, and helps children's and family health and education projects around the world.

I like Traidcraft and Amnesty. Fabby little red rucksacks in Traidcraft, and an A-Z elephants. AND a Festival Elephant too. You can't have too many elephants IMO.

I normally get cards, wrap and stuff from NSPCC, here they have some really nice cards this year.

Toys, novelties and stuff from Hawkins Bazaar

Easy · 15/09/2004 11:25

Webb Ivory isn't a charity tho' is it?

Easy · 15/09/2004 11:26

but then neither is Hawkins sorry

Easy read the small print "Make a REAL DIFFERENCE in your community!
When you shop with us, up to 25% of your purchase will be donated to the cause of your choice. Organisations we support include: Scouts, Guides, Schools and Playgroups, Churches and Hospitals."

Easy · 15/09/2004 11:33

can I make up by posting this link for traidcraft ?

Webb Ivory isn't a charity, but they are used by charities to raise money. The Guide and Scout Associations use them to get orders from friends and family and then Webb Ivory give the charity so many % for using them.
