Fleece Pyjamas/Blanket sleepers

My son has never had a grobag and at 15 months I think he may be too old to try them. I saw these fleecy blanket sleepers on amazon.com but they won't ship them to the UK. LL Bean does them but their shipping is expensive. I've emailed lands end to see if they ship them.

Does anyone know if you can get something like that in England or that will send them to England that wonlt cost nearly $50. I've treid googling and there are are a suprising number of pyjamas fetishists out there. I suppose I could dress him in sweatshirt and sweat pants and vest and socks (He won't keep blankets or duvet on and wakes up cold sometimes amd dreading winter!)

How big is he, Jane313? Let me dither a bit and see if I want to sell you one -- I probably should save for DS2, but my American relatives keep sending them... Or I'll have a chance to buy one later that I actually like better.

The one I have is all gray, size 18-24m (2T) with just a little blue bear in an American football helmut on the breast. Zip up. Has feet on it, too. No good to you this winter if your DS isn't pretty tall, though.

Mind you, my kids use theirs in summer, anyway!

jane313 - i have always used these sleepers for my 2 when younger... mothercare do them dd had one all pink with piglet on!!! - in fact she was prancing around in it the other day because she thought it was funny! (she's 3 now and it is still huge on her!!!) ds has 2 from mothercare and they're really soft and cosy... especially now the horrible weather seems to have set in now!!!
is this what you are after?

jane313 · 14/09/2004 18:39

oh yes thats waht I need. I hadn't realised mothercare did them (I keep avoiding that shop cos they messed me around so many times and I had a row with one of the women in there last time! I am turning into my mother and my nan have rows with stroppy shop assistants)

Zebra you can save that one for your DS2! But thanks very much for the thought!

I do love mumsent when you find out exactly what you want to know after faffing around for hours on google.

jane313 · 15/09/2004 11:00

are they the overpyjamas ones? The link went to the home page. They are cheaper than mothercare but I've already sent off for them! Well if I need another pair I know were to look! Thanks

The mothercare ones arrived in 2 days! I will never speak ill of them again. They are so cosy I would like an adult sized pair and I would live in them all day and night.

If you get stuck, then I have just started a home business of making them. It all started with my 2 girls who have slept in nothing else but theirs were home made. I make them in all shapes and sizes, fleece, cotton, heavy duty ones for really cold spells (in noddy material) and sheet ones for the summer - more for babies I guess. Let me know if you're interested. I'm happy to make one and if you don't like it then just send it back. Big fleece ones around #24.00.
