Scooter for 2.5 year old ?

Does anyone know of a scooter (non-character) that would suit a 2.5 year old ? Are there ones which are more steady than others.

She's smallish (seems to have good balance though which I guess will help !) but desperate for one and is a buggy refusenik so thought it might help get her places. She is due to start nursery in September so thought it would be a good 'going to nursery' pressie.

Urchin have a lovley non character one...but it's £45!!

Thanks both ! Just looked at the urchin one - its lovely and looks good although it says from 3. Do you think this is a size thing or just because most things say from 3 ? Just worry we'll get one that says from 3 and it'll be too big for her (she's a bit smaller than average and only 2.5) and then all hell will break lose when she can't use it !!

I saw a little girl with one which was quite small and had 2 wheels at the front - are these quite steady ?

I bought my dd a character one from argos... it came blank with add your own stickers and front bag thingy..........so u could do that and leave the stickers off

A friend's dd, a small 2.3, has one of the two wheel at the front ones. Not sure what they are called, think they are £40 from John Lewis. It looks great. Ds1, also 2.3, had a go and could ride it pretty well after 10 mins. Handles seem quite high but doesn't seem to be a problem.

Those micro ones are brilliant weasley bug. They are also light enough to put over buggy's handles where dc gets tired. My DS has been on his since he was just over 2

Yes, that's the one. They do seem really good for little ones. Am thinking of getting ds1 one as a very generous potty successful potty training present!

DD1 has that one from john lewis, DD2 (21m) uses it too and seems ok on it. def the most sturdy one around from what i've seen.
