Does anyone's DD have a WUVLUV?

DD got given a Wuvluv yesterday at a carboot. The lady was desperate to get rid of it LOL!
The only thing is there are no instructions apart from the ones on the base of the Wuvluv and we appear to be missing the flower pendant.

Is the flower pendant vital?

How do you make the damn thing give birth?

Would you still have the instructions that I could have a scanned copy of...?

"The first thing you do with a WuvLuv, the pregnant Prozac poster child of plush, is insert batteries and press the aptly titled "rebirth" button. Now watch the toy move in a strangely fluid motion, googly eyes and all. Her voice is high-pitched, happy and annoying; and she says things like "Ummmm, I WUV hugs!" Pet the back of her head or feed her favorite "num-nums"to which she inevitable replies "mmm, nummy." After five minutes, she starts flashing her antenna, wiggles her head and declares, "Here comes baby!" No water breaks, and no real labor ensuesaside from the cat-like full-body hairball-coughing action that's impossible to turn away from. Her belly opens up--and there's Baby! She names it and talks to it."

Sounds truly dreadful - I'm, not surprised the car boot woman gave it away!

We've got one!!! Not bought by me. You can use your finger instead of the flower. The "birth" is quite exciting though expecially when the mother and baby take turns to sing to each other

Well the damn thing says "Here comes baby" and then nothing happens!
Much like my labour with DD I suppose

Had one that someone bought for dd's birthday a couple of years ago. Managed to accidently get rid of it last year. It gave me the creeps.

Is it possible it's a phantom pregnacy and the baby is not there?

The birth is quite long drawn out...or you need new batteries
