Fit the descrip except 40!

Chanel Vitalumiere foundation is fab, lots of v pale shades, mine is called "blonde" or "limpide", can't remember which. Not too heavy at all, v fluid.

Or try Prescriptives, bound to find a match there, can't remember which one I used to get but there was a good moisturising one that went on well. Or splash out and have one custom blended

themaskedcodster · 04/07/2007 14:50

Oh and LOL Mars (you norty girly)

themaskedcodster · 04/07/2007 14:52

go to makeup, foundation and then compact foundation ...

bohemianbint · 04/07/2007 14:53

I love Prescriptives, also had a good one from Estee Lauder once...

JodieG1 · 04/07/2007 14:54

I used to use a christian dior one which was lovely but I rarely use it so just buy a cheaper one now as I like to kepe them fresh. www.edirectory.co.uk/pf/880/mia/pid/1267225 that one but I used the colour 101 at the time.

LaBoheme · 04/07/2007 15:15

oh vyes chanel - bloody brilliant foundation

GameGirly · 04/07/2007 15:26

And another vote for the Chanel. I rarely wear foundation, but this one feels really light and looks great on. Covers all those little marks and spots, too!

I'm blonde and pale and I vote for prescriptives virtual skin. Really nice texture too. I go for the lightest yellow/orange base, but they can match your skin tone exactly. Lasts for ages too.

amazonianwoman · 04/07/2007 21:19

Virtual skin - that was the one I used to use V nice!

stealthsquiggle · 04/07/2007 21:21

Yet another vote for Clinique

trippleshot · 04/07/2007 21:21

I second Chanel Vitalumiere

stealthsquiggle · 04/07/2007 21:21

oh but don't buy it in the US without re-testing the colour - the names are the same but the colours are different!

Packman · 05/07/2007 12:11

I have used a Clarins Extra Firming Foundation colour No 5 for the past zeon years and swear by it. Nice coverage without looking caked! Very natural.

SpongeBobControlPants · 05/07/2007 14:34

I'm another pasty-faced one (but not blonde) and I use mineral foundation. I bought a few samples from Lily Lolo and Everyday Minerals and mixed them all together in various proportions (gawd knows what I'll do when it runs out, as I can't remember exactly what's in it!!)

The colour is good, coverage good and adjustable (I need it, having had crap skin for EVER) but it does look a bit 'flat' and dry for my liking....

Prior to that, I found the L'Oreal true match (I think it's called) to be quite a good colour for not a great deal of spondoolics
