TTC no3. Our car infant car seat no longer conforms to EU standards so I will def be replacing that. Thinking of replacing our pushchair too but not sure what's out there now as it's been 4 years since DD was born. What would you recommend?

what are you looking for??

the m&p skoot is only £250 at the moment instead of £500. you get the carry cot, pushchair and car seat so good value for money.

i've got a zooper 3 wheeler which i love and you can get a carry cot for it too. (it is for when my mum has him cos she doesn't like my other pushchair)

i have also got a mutsy puschair which i only got cos you can get a go kart bit to attach on when they are older and i am that shallow!

i really like the icandy apple too and if you seach on ebay there is one called moon 4 which is identical and much cheaper.

What's you budget and do you walk lots, drive lots, want something that folds small or do you have somewhere to use it in the house for day naps etc? Basically what is your lifestyle?

McDreamy · 01/07/2007 15:54

Budget probably up to 200 pounds, lifestyle - lots of walking, some driving but we have a big car, won't use it for naps.

how hung up are you on them facing you?

do you ever get the bus?

how will you store it?

McDreamy · 01/07/2007 16:03

Would prefer them facing me but not essential, never get the bus, storage not an issue

LadyVictoriaOfCake · 01/07/2007 16:03

i would say get the skoot

MrsBadger · 01/07/2007 16:03

(oh and be open to getting the pushchair and carseat completely seperately - better to get a decent safe carseat that fits the car than a less good one that comes with a travel system you'll never use)

MrsBadger · 01/07/2007 16:04

Silver Cross Freeway?

McDreamy · 01/07/2007 16:26

Ooh quite like that MrsB, will have to talk to DH now ....no rewind ....will have to get a BFP first

OP posts:
McDreamy · 01/07/2007 16:31

So next question then if I follow Mrs B's advice is which infant car seat?

OP posts:
MrsBadger · 01/07/2007 16:38

depends 100% on your car - they don't all fit all of them
Have you Isofix?

McDreamy · 01/07/2007 16:39

We have 2 cars, a 4x4 (while we are here in Cyprus) and a SAAB, need one that can fit both. No don't have isofix - I don't think!

The Britax Cosy Tot Premium always does well out of the non-Isofix seats in the Which? test, but go to the Britax website and check it'll fit both cars.

McDreamy · 01/07/2007 17:28

Thanks for that link great web site. The car seat you recommend unfortunately doesn't fit my SAAB but they do one that does.

which car seat guide 2007

which buggy guide 2007

nappyaddict · 02/07/2007 12:21

we had a maxi cosi citi which was recommended to us as the best non isofix car seat and we are now moving up to the concord trimax.

the concord fusion pushchair is quite nice. i'm thinking of getting it.
