Laptop-Where should I buy one-DELL?PC WORLD etc?

Am planning on giving my credit card a bashing and investing in a new,all singing all dancing laptop as mine is ridiculously antiquated.

Have never had a particularly good experience with PC world but not sure where else to get one.

Any advice?

Am I being dumb Throckenholt or is that a desk top?

Interesting point about battery life from Dell-thanks.

Toshiba makes sense..hmmmm.

May well have to sacrifice the built in webcam but I suppose it is a bit poncey.

hmm - yes - that does point to a desktop - sure it didn't when I looked at it the first time !

under search options you can look in the stockroom bit and select laptops (two types inspiron and latitude - not sure of the difference).

I really appreciate your help but it's all Japanese to me and am losing the will to live.
