C3 Picasso - Manual Rear Windows

Hello.
I have got 2 children (both less than 3 years age) and my husband is planning to buy a C3 Picasso.
However the only major negative point is that it has manually operated rear windows rather than electric windows. On front it has electrically operated windows.
I wanted to understand how much would this be a problem? This will be our first car so no personal experience.
To justify to ourselves that this won't be a problem - "Most of the time car will be used by husband for commuting to work and so rear windows will not be used at all. For other times when going with family, windows won't be used when its raining or if it is too hot/cold outside."
But my concern is that for all other occasions when we have to adjust the rear window (open/close), it will be an issue with manually operated.
Can you please advise what is your opinion and experience.

I hate to be the one to say it but we grew up with manual rear windows and we survived. It'll be a couple of years before your children will need to be operating them and if the car is good in every other way then I wouldn't let it put you off.

We have manually operated rear windows. Harder for small children to open themselves and stick arms out/ throw teddies or books out.

Will you have air con? We mostly use that and, if we need a window open, the front is enough as the air blows back. Windows open in the back blow right on the side of their faces and annoys them. Not to mention the roar of traffic on a motorway.

And as a PP said, people managed before electric windows were around.

I always had electric windows, however the car I have now doesn't. The DCs had no idea how to wind the windows down

They are desperate for me to get one with electric windows , but I love my car and I won't be changing it any time soon - they have managed to soldier on!

From my experience electric is better, but manual isn't a deal breaker.
Electric windows can be locked from the front, whereas manual obviously can't. So if your DC figure out how to open them then you have no control over it. Or if you want/need them opened for any reason whilst driving along.
Also electric is handy on mornings/nights where the car is misted up and you need to put the window down to get the moisture off. Easy with electric, pain with manual.
But I guess you just adapt to what you get used to.
